During my childhood, as many of my friends, I thought that in the year 2000 we were all going to drive flying cars. Maybe I watched too many science fiction movies such as Blade Runner, a Star wars, or Back to the Future, but I was also influenced by the French draftsman Jean Giraud alias Moebius.
Once I read this sentence «Our dreams of today are the reality of tomorrow “.
What if it were true that in their time period Jules Verne or Leonardo da Vinci had created unconsciously universes and basic essentials to accustom the human being into an unpredictable future, one he could never imagine, as to prepare him for an obvious fact.
It is maybe the same thing today, science fiction is everywhere, is it here to prepare us to fly in spaceships, to meet people with powers or simply to drive flying cars?
When I was little, watching Star Wars and all the movies from that time, I dreamed of owning a flying car, any, to dart freely from one part to another of the globe. Unfortunately, despite the efforts we have not yet arrived, even though Lady Gaga showed us the first flying dress we are still far from what Blade Runner & Co. had made me dream. However, since the imagination has no limit, here is Renaud Marion transmute my desire into reality, even if only on the image, with “Air Drive”. That can be a stimulus for many to continue towards this road? Surely I will be happy with my inner child within.
